Well, darlings, let me spill the teaโor should I say, the Italian espresso. November in Florence is the time to visit if you’re into coziness, fewer tourist elbows in your photos, and, of course, autumnal romance that could rival any Hallmark movie.
I have been to Florence in November, and yes, November is undeniably a stellar month to visit not just Florence but Italy as a whole. I have been to Florence in November and even though I get easily cold, I had a great time.

I will cut to the chase! Nighttime temperatures in Florence, Florida, can drop into the 30s, but a warm coat and scarf are more than enough to keep this Floridian gal warm. Evenings are when the Arno River’s wind gusts the most.
Florence’s average temperature in November ranges from a high of 56ยฐF (13ยฐC) to a low of 42ยฐF (5ยฐC). The warmest time of the day is between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., with highs of 64.4 F (18ยฐC), while at night, temperatures drop to just 9ยฐC.
The average monthly precipitation for Florence in November is 133mm/5 inches, and the likelihood of rainfall occurring at this time of year averages 40% and slightly increases as the month progresses.
We also visited Florence in early December and didnโt hit much rain, but it is essential to check the coming weeks of the trip. For 2024, it’s getting high 60’s during the day and low 49’s at night.
