When traveling to Europe, my husband and I aim to spend less than $600 on each ticket. We also aim for a budget of $100 a night for accommodations when it’s just the two of us and $225 when it’s the family. To find these incredible travel deals, we love using Booking.com, Expedia, VRBO, and Airbnb. I love these websites for award points, bundle deals, and great reviews.

This is a very personal question and I believe each person needs to think about this and answer it for themselves. Weigh out the pros and cons. I am writing this in June 2022 when travel has been opened back up and many travel restrictions have been dropped. I am still cautious as far as hand sanitizers, crowds, and even masks. I also always take an at-home kit with me. Europe summer travel is crazy right now so I recommend waiting to travel to Europe, the fall is perfect. It is vital that you also check if the country you are traveling to requires tests, vaccines etc. I am always sharing up-to-date news on my newsletter and on my TikToks.

My husband and I budget as follows. $100 a night for accommodations then $100 a day for just food and drinks. Next, we calculate how much all the transportation will be between cities, then and the activities that we book. We also look for free things to do as we rather spend money on food and drink.

I like renting from Expedia as they typically have some cool deals. I have used Hertz and Sixth.

I download the airline apps and the apps I use for booking trips like Booking.com, Expedia, and Airbnb.

I have been traveling since I was 6 years old and they were also super long overall trip. Now we have so many resources ( Wi-Fi, Netflix, and YouTube) that you can plan out activities while you wait or get work done. For me, I also make sure I wear super comfy clothes. This will depend on so many factors. We use our credit and debit cards while in Europe and take out cash when we arrive if needed. We save cash for tips and certain activities that are cash only.
