When booking flights and hotels to Italy, I prefer to use Expedia! I like the idea of bundling packages so I find a flight then book a 2 night hotel. I also love to compare this package vs single flight found in Google flights.
I have found better flights by bundling. For example, we wanted to visit Rome but couldn’t find a direct flight, once we bundled the deal in Expedia, a direct flight was available. I typically will fly into Rome then head to Tuscany by car or train.
I find that flights from where I live ( FTL/MIA) area, it’s cheaper to fly into Rome vs Florence, but always compare.
